BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Remove excessive clutter from boot: If your boot is full of sports equipment, tools, shopping bags, or general junk, clear it out. Our testers often needs to access the spare wheel well.
Remove valuable items: It's good practice for security to remove anything valuable.
Remove excessive clutter from footwells: Our testers need clear access to the footwells. Remove things like gym bags, discarded food wrappers, excessive floor mats, etc.
Remove car seats/booster seats: It makes it much easier for us to access and inspect seatbelts, their anchor points, and the general condition of the seats underneath.
Have documentation ready: While not explicitly asked for by our testers, having your V5C logbook and previous MOT certificates handy can be useful if any queries arise.
